The institute library houses a 40 year rich collection of around 7000 books on architecture, interior, art and heritage, urbanism, planning, construction and related fields. The collection also includes journals and professional magazines in paper and online formats, videos, CDs, maps, slides and a large number of online resources increasingly important to the architecture field supporting research, teaching and learning.

The institute has developed Audio – Visual Rooms to keep up the pace with the change in teaching methods and technology. It is inevitable to use various audio & visual devices for advanced teaching and learning purposes.
Auditorium with a capacity of over 200 seats is the primary performance space for all cultural events, award ceremonies and seminars. Providing a rich audio-visual experience within the premise the space acts as a platform for celebration, acknowledgement and exchange of ideas.
The institute also provides faculty room for full time, part time and visiting faculty. Storage, boarding and dining facilities are provided.
In order to expose the students about the work done by various other students an exhibition room of size 10m x 20m is part of the institutions. This also facilitates the exhibition of various arts and crafts, works of prominent Architects and Artists.

The institute organises annual sports events and encourages active student participation for sports competitions at various levels.
NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) is a qualifying test for admission in any architecture college in India. The Council of Architecture (COA) of India has identified several colleges where this test can be given online. The APIED has NATA Center with 30 seats where approximately 200 aspiring Candidates appear for online test every year. The institute has 30 computers, IP cameras, scanners and printers and high speed internet connectivity.
